A Listening Presence Changes Hearts
The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario’s spiritual theme for 2025–2030, “A Listening Presence Changes Hearts,” emerged from a synodal process that invited students, staff, families and community members to share their voices and experiences. The theme reminds us that deep listening is a sacred act that fosters connection, belonging, healing and transformation. As a Catholic school community, we are called to be truly present to one another, honouring the dignity of every person and creating spaces where faith, learning and growth can flourish.
As Pope Francis reminds us, we are called to walk together – “todos, todos, todos” – in communion and co-responsibility.
